<image:title>Blog - Hand Woven Basket Ramona gave to Art Cary - The Story of the Basket</image:title>
<image:caption>Art Cary knew Ramona because she rode in the back of a donkey drawn wagon he drove. Ramona would sit on the back with her feet hanging over the edge. Mrs. Smith wanted to take Ramonas picture so Art Cary and his father Noah Cary took Greta to Ramonas home at the north end of the Cahuilla Reservation. This is where Greta Smith took Ramonas photo. After this picture was taken Mrs. Smith asked Ramona for an object that was laying on the ground beside her. She shook her head no, then went into her home and returned with this basket and gave it to Art Cary.</image:caption>
